Project:
Life University will have a dynamic new student center that energizes student life, embraces human improvement, and the first LEED certified project on campus.
Challenges:
Life University is gearing up to undergo a comprehensive initiative that will transform their remarkable campus as the university embarks on completing its 20/20 Vision. With help from the entire Life community, the campaign will allow Life University to reinforce its core strengths, including emphasis on the student, the essential relationships between students and engaged faculty, and the Eight Core Proficiencies.
Solutions:
The facility design will include 20 foot open ceilings, bright warm colors and an exciting environment that will bring students to the current center of campus. Unique lighting and colorful banners will hang from the ceiling and walls. In the center of the dining area there will be cylinder walls for a collaborative area with lounge seating and tables. The finishes include the warmth of wood, metallic detailing, colorful materials to embrace the contemporary trends that Life is looking to convey in there vision of a forward thinking university. There will be a new storefront that extends the inside to the outside with a new garden and patio area to enjoy those nice sunny days as well.
