Project:

Combine and relocate 3 different office locations to 1 new large 2-story facility to house Customer Service, IT Department and Carters/Oshkosh primary Data Center, which will operate nationwide.

Challenges:

Creating a cohesive office environment while maintaining the needs of these 2 distinct departments were the biggest challenge of the project. It was important for this facility to have the look and feel of other Carter, Inc offices to keep a consistent look nationwide.

Solutions:

Facilitec was able to visit two existing Carter offices and came up with a few ideas to change and put a twist on the office standards – Darker carpet was put in to help hide wear and darker furniture was used in all of the closed offices to help highlight and contrast with the maple wood throughout the space. A combination of open workspace, offices with large sidelight and many collaborative spaces allowed for an easy transition for the merge of the these two distinct groups in a new facility.
