North Point Community Church
Project:
Since it’s inception in 1997, North Point Community Church has experienced tremendous growth, with current facilities that can accommodate over 5,000 worshipers at one time.
Our project was to relocate the pastoral and support staff offices, a move designed to capitalize on current market conditions, provide more efficient space to accommodate growth, and achieve a physical environment conducive to a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
Challenges:
Creating reception, task, and office areas which exude a warm, supportive, family atmosphere but still function effectively for individuals, private group consults, and high performance, large output teams of employees and volunteers.
Solutions:
With the help of real estate broker Scotland Wright, a nearby space of roughly 40,000 square feet was selected. The use of natural tones, natural lighting, and an intentional effort to “bring the outside in” created a more residential, warm aesthetic. Workstations were designed with lower panels and strategically placed for ready access to multiple collaborative work areas, while larger multiuse areas kept the overall space open and inviting.
