Daugherty Business Solutions has been in Atlanta since 1991 as a strategic consulting partner helping clients with unique business and technology objectives. Their services provide solutions that blend industry expertise, technical capabilities and a highly collaborative approach to working with clients.
Our project was to relocate the Atlanta office from Alpharetta to Buckhead, a move designed to help the client recruit top talent. Our solution was to provide a new sleek and sophisticated office space in one of the area’s premier high-rise buildings, Phipps Tower.
Challenges:
Creating an open environment with views and daylighting to all staff was very important. Also, meeting the unique space requirements of three distinct employee groups, the Executive, Sales, and Recruiting, and Training Teams, while maintaining a consistent look throughout the suite was a priority. Finally, as the Atlanta office is one of five U.S. locations, it was critical to ensure corporate standards were applied.
Solutions:
Facilitec provided a space plan with three definitive areas. Although each area was enclosed, the use of full glass doors and large sidelights keep each space feeling open and welcoming to other team members. Walking off the elevator, one is immediately greeted by the city’s skyline, clearly visible through the glass entry doors and beyond the reception area. The floor to ceiling glass of the building floods the space with natural light while light colored walls play off the modern carpet tile, furniture, artwork and decorative lighting.
